The Kit

What we changed…
Looking for a cleaner antenna installation we chose a TeraFlex JK Wrangler antenna mount. This mount provides a clean installation directly to the rear tire carrier on the JK.
CB Installation
Although the JK is the largest of the Wrangler series there still is limited installation space. A nice area is below the glove box on the passenger side. Using two self tapping screws we mounted the CB bracket to the plastic part of the dash and attached the CB.
We also modified the CB’s power cord by adding a cigarette lighter plug and fuse to allow the CB to be removed easily. After installing the antenna and running the cable the SWR was adjusted and the CB was ready for use.
