Rausch Creek Trail Run - November 2007

With the summer of 2007 fading into a memory the cold brisk air is becoming the norm in eastern Pennsylvania.  Gone are the days of shorts and topless Jeeps - well except for the crazies that wheel in topless Jeeps in snowstorms.
We gathered a group of close friends together to have a day of some trail riding at Rausch Creek Off Road park located near Joliet, PA.

The vehicle breakdown of our group was varied.  One JK Wrangler, two JK Wrangler Unlimiteds, one TJ Wrangler, one CJ-7, a J-10 pickup converted to a "truggy" and an S-10 Blazer (always a rebel in the crowd)

We met up in the Rausch Creek parking/staging lot and prepared our vehicles for the trail.  Airing down, disconnecting sway bars, and discussing the trail plans were the final things to do before we headed out.

Off to the trails...after a short ride into the woods we arrived at our 1st obstacle.  A steep downhill into a large water hole followed by an equally steep hill climb.

Our ride was a great opportunity for Christine to try out her new BDS lift and Nitto Tires.  She and her Jeep did a great job all day.
