Wheel Ramps

Wheel ramps allow you to raise the front or the rear of your Jeep without having to jack it up.  Using these are generally safer than jacks and jack stands since the vehicle is sitting on it's suspension with almost proper footing.  These are extremely useful for working on parts of your Jeep that are underneath and do not require removing the wheels.

Using wheel ramp is simple but sometimes a challenge with stubborn ramps on a smooth garage floor.  Some companies make ramps that have a pad for the vehicle wheels that allows the vehicle to climb the ramp without it moving.  Putting the Jeep in 4WD can help.  After the jeep is up on the ramp make sure the brake is set and chocks are used at the other end to prevent the vehicle from rolling off.

Recommendation

One set of quality ramps rated for the weight of your vehicle.  We prefer the solid plastic ramps over the stamped steel ones.  The plastic ones do not rust, have a better surface area so they don't sink as much into blacktop, and are easier to handle.
