Usually through the life cycle of the Wrangler a refresh comes along to offer some new looks and new features. Typically the refresh doesn’t change the model overall such as the JL replaced the JK – this is still a JL.
Main things
New Grille Design – A small design change to the grille that is very obvious. The addition of a blacked out area makes the grille appear solid from a distance. In many ways it reduces the prominence of the seven slots. Love it or hate it, the choice is yours.
Larger center display – Probably the most talked about change. The 12.3″ touch screen radio offers a new look and new features like wireless Apple Car Play. To go along with the radio the HVAC vents are now under the radio and are rectangular. Pretty!
Side Air Bags – Standard on all models
XR package – the XR package still includes all the goodies like 35″ tires, wide trak axles, tailgate reinforcement and 4.56 gears. The XR package can be added to several models including Willys and Rubicon.
392 – The 392 V8 equipped Wrangler continues in 2024 with all the new features found in the XR package and some new wheels.
Full Float Rear Axle – A modified Dana 44 heavy duty full float rear axle is available on certain models to add extra strength and towing capacity.
Power Seats – What’s not to like about 12 way adjustable front seats?
Windshield Integrated Radio Antenna – no more side whip antenna. To be honest this is odd to see gone but it seems like it’s already something that so many people replace with something aftermarket.
Colors – Sting Grey is gone, Anvil is back.
Winch – The steel bumper group can include a factory mounted Warn 8000lb winch.
Wheels – Some new wheels on most models.
