The Borg-Warner T-14 is a 3 speed transmission with a cast iron
case. I has a casting number of T14A or 1302 and a 1 1/8" 10 spline
input shaft. The I6 T-14 has a 1 3/8" 6 spline output while the V6
T-14 has a 1 3/16" 10 spline output. Input shafts lengths also vary
between applications.
Usage
The T-14 was the standard transmission for 225 V6 CJs and Commandos
from 1967 to 1971, and for 232 and 258 I6 CJs and Commandos from 1972
to 1975. The T-14 was also the standard transmission for Jeep trucks
and Wagoneers equipped with the 232 I6 from 1965 through mid-year of
1971.
