Description: The Interco Super Swamper bogger is a tire designed with one main purpose in mind. Mud. These tires are equipped with large lugs placed in a cross tire pattern that act as paddles. The huge side lugs provide excellent additional traction and protect the sidewalls. With 6, 8 or 10 plys in the ply rating (model dependant) this tire has a strong, puncture resistant, tear resistant sidewall, however tends be on the stiff side until well broken in. The Bogger is the preferred tire for many rock crawlers who say the Bogger performs very well on the rock.
Interco Tire Corporation attempts to give this tire some street friendly attitude with minor success by breaking up the lug pattern to avoid a harmonic vibration but regardless the ride is quite rough, uneven and loud on paved road. Needless to say this tire is not one you want to commute to work every day with as it produces plenty of street noise and does not handle very well on pavement. However is is street legal, D.O.T. approved and actually does wear quite well, probably due to its harder compound.

The Bogger comes in a large variety of sizes and widths. Some early model Jeeps will need wheel spacers to avoid hitting the springs.

Pros: Insane grip, aggressive profile
Cons: powerful engine + weak drivetrain + Boggers = snapped axles

I got these on my 350 V8 YJ and I've snapped a front axle u-joint, a drive shaft u-joint and ripped the cheap YJ drive shaft u-joint straps twice (upgrading to u-bolts) Sad . All this due to the power at one end and the grip at the other. The tires do great offroad. A little stiff offroad unless aired way down and not exactly a premium ride on the pavement but these tires are tough as hell offroad and grip great. Mean looking too. Thumbs Up!

Pros:
Cons:

I'm looking to get boggers on my 01 Chevy Z71. I was wondering will a 38.5 fit up under my truck with a straight 8 inch suspension lift?? I tried 38's and they fit perfect...They rubbed a little bit but only when bogged down in mud but I dont plan on going in much mud anymore considering I'm 16 with no job to fix anything.
