Description: Amor-Tek3 Carcass Construction
The heavy-duty Carcass is constructed of two
radial polyester body plies and one angled polyester body ply to deliver three plies of protection for superior resistance to impact breaks and bruising. Deep Buttress Lug

The aggressive tread design extends far down the
sidewall of the tire to enhance its soft surface
traction and also provides additional "bite" in rock crawling application.

Pros: quiet and smooth
Cons: too soft and mushy on the road, lots of sway

I am sure that the qualities that make this a good off-road tire contribute to it's poor performance on the road. I feel like I am riding on a stiff bed of Jell-o. Meaning that the sidewalls are stiff and add to a Jeeps already bumpy ride, while the lugs are soft and not very stable. My Jeep Wrangler sways all over the road now and I was running mud tires before this so I know how they are supposed to feel under my Jeep.

Pros: relatively quiet, cleans well, priced right: 4/3 deal
Cons: tend to flatten if not driven, lots of weight to ballance

I don't think this tire can be beat for the price. On rocks and in the snow, I think out performs the BFG MT and the Goodyear MT. It is not an outstanding mud tire, but has done its job well in every terrain I drive. I have no reservations in recommending this tire.

Pros: Great price, quite on road, great rock climbing
Cons: None so far

New sidewall design seems thicker and stronger, 14 psi still looks fully inflated on 33's and should allow even lower psi off-road. On-road I am running 26-28 psi and performance is better than expected for a Mud Terrain. Ride is quite for daily driving, balanced perfectly, killer traction on rocks, sidewalls resist cuts from sharp rocks, looks really great, great all around tire!
