OK Auto Grand Reopening and Rausch Creek Trail Ride

May 5, 2007
-page 4 Fun on the Rock Pile-
index

OK's new rock pile is a departure from their old one.  The old pile was a flat long narrow stretch of rocks.  The new pile is a large mound with 4 separate climb/descend paths surrounded with a rock field.  The one side had several slabs of concrete that made the climb especially difficult.

This Quiqley 4X4 Van made a pretty good show on the rock pile.  It used a large boulder as a 5th wheel on the way down.  See the rear wheels off the ground.

This new 4 door JK Rubicon made a go on the easier side of the pile.
As always, the rock pile is a crowd favorite at OK.  The sound of metal scraping rock is a audience pleaser.
