Installing Castor/Camber Adjusting Upper Ball Joint Sleeves or “Camber Correctors”. Castor/Camber correcting upper ball joint sleeves are installed in place of the original sleeves. The sleeves are tapered, threaded inserts that install in the top of the steering knuckle above the u-joint. These sleeves are used to maintain proper tension on the knuckle ball joints. Read more

2007 Wrangler Unlimited JK 4 Door Hits Dealer

It was a nice end of summer afternoon and I was running some errands. I went by Kelly Jeep’s lot and out of the corner of my eye I spotted a new Wrangler. I was like “OH MY GOSH, THERE IS NEW WRANGLERS BACK THERE!” Needless to say I almost spun the Liberty around right there. I calmed down briefly and made a legal turn around and went back to the lot. There were 3 new Wranglers there, two Sahara’s (Rock Red and Steel Blue) and one X (Black). I pulled out my camera and gave them all a good once over. At first impression I was impressed. Lucky for me one of them was unlocked and I took the opportunity to get inside and feel it out, lucky for Kelly I am a honest person that would never deface a Jeep! Read more

Installing TJ Flares on a CJ – The right way and ALL the way.

Mike wanted a different look. He always liked the CJ’s original look but the larger tires and wide trak axles made everything just kinda stick out too far. A lot of Jeepers install TJ flares for a little more tire coverage and an increase in fender clearance. TJ flares allow for trimming of the CJ wheel opening to increase tire clearance. Read more
